About us

Internet television made for viewers aged 50+ in Poland

Silver TV broadcasts live every day on YouTube and Facebook and publishes short video on Instagram and TikTok. The formats are written and produced in-house, for one audience: Polish viewers over fifty.

What we are

A channel, not a video library

Lifestyle programs, health guidance, studio conversations, and features filmed on location. New material every day, at a fixed time, with the same faces on screen.

Live every day

A daily live broadcast on YouTube and Facebook, with viewers writing in during the show and hosts answering on air.

Formats made in-house

Our own studio, crew, and equipment in Warsaw. Nothing is licensed in from abroad and nothing is dubbed.

No politics

An editorial line the audience trusts: useful, warm, and out of politics. That is why the community stays.

The face of Silver TV

Beata Borucka — “Mądra Babcia”

Beata Borucka is the face of Silver TV and the host of its daily live broadcast. She built her audience in Poland under the name Mądra Babcia, which translates as Wise Grandma, and speaks to a generation Polish media has largely stopped addressing.

She comes from marketing and communications, and she works with commercial partners on camera as a brand ambassador, under her own name. Her audience and the Silver TV audience are the same people.

Where to watch

Four platforms, two brands

There is no broadcast license and no cable carriage. Everything reaches the viewer over the internet, which is also why every view is reported by the platform that served it.

Frequently asked

Questions we get first

What is Silver TV?

Silver TV is a Polish internet television channel made for viewers aged 50 and over. It broadcasts live every day on YouTube and Facebook and publishes short video on Instagram and TikTok, with lifestyle, health, cooking, culture, and practical guidance produced in its own studio in Warsaw. It is operated by Silver TV sp. z o.o., registered in Warsaw on April 19, 2021 (KRS 0000895149); the channel itself has been on air since 2020. It has no broadcast license and no cable carriage — distribution is entirely over the internet.

Who is Beata Borucka?

Beata Borucka is the face of Silver TV, known to Polish audiences as Mądra Babcia, which translates as Wise Grandma. She hosts the channel’s daily live broadcast and works with commercial partners as a brand ambassador on camera. She comes from marketing and communications, and she speaks to the same generation Silver TV is made for: Polish viewers aged 50 and over.

How is Silver TV different from traditional Polish television?

Silver TV has no broadcast license and no cable carriage. It reaches viewers only over the internet — live on YouTube and Facebook, in short form on Instagram and TikTok — so every view is reported by the platform that served it and a campaign can be measured rather than estimated. Its programming is written for one audience, viewers aged 50 and over, instead of for a general schedule, and its formats are produced in-house rather than licensed from abroad.
